in 1996,
Drillmax, Inc.
is a premier manufacturer of high
quality drilling equipment,
primarily for the oil and gas and
water industries. The product family
includes valves, gauges and
hydrocyclones, as well as mud
cleaning equipment and mud guns.
The owners of
Drillmax
originally focused on improving the
float valves which existed in the
marketplace at the time. They worked
to produce a superior valve with a
longer service life and have
succeeded in manufacturing the
finest float valve available today.
Drillmax
is a family owned and operated
business; owners Brad and Ranee
Cress have a wealth of oilfield
experience and are dedicated to
providing products of the highest
quality and excellence in customer
service. Drillmax employees, with
over 60 years of combined experience
in the drilling industry, are
equally committed to ensuring
customers receive quality products
and close personal attention. Our
commitment to “Maximum Drilling
Technology” inspired our name –

A WORD
FROM THE PRESIDENT
The engineering,
sales and marketing background of Drillmax
dates back to 1984, when I began working for
Crestex, Inc. and had the opportunity to
work with every facet of the company. Our
Chief Engineer at Drillmax worked with
Crestex for 10 years and was instrumental in
the concept and design of the Crestex drill
pipe float valve.
Below is a list of the improvements we have
made and the resulting increased life-span
to the float valve and parts. It is
important to note that all parts are
completely interchangeable with Baker and
Crestex. In addition to float valves, we
also manufacture the Demco® type shear
relief valve and DM type gate valves.
Ranee and I continue to
maintain the enthusiasm for customer service
and product excellence we had when we first
started Drillmax, and we look forward to
helping our present and future customers
achieve their business goals.
